Simone, The Filthy Book Reader

I have bookshelves weighted down with books on sex, the history of human sexuality, BDSM, photography, art, erotica, bisexuality, gay, trans and straight short sex stories, sex-ed and human sexuality... with some of my money going to Kinky Bookstore, www.kinkybookstore.com.  I came up with the name "The Filthy Book Reader" a few years ago and thought it was the wittiest, fucking funniest thing... you had to be there.  I promptly made a t-shirt, then created a blog, then didn't know what to do with it for a few years.  In the real world, where not everyone thinks I'm so funny, I am the owner and designer of Exquisite Restraint Corsets, www.exquisiterestraint.com, and also a film/television specialty costume maker.  The corsets have given me entrée to some great places, physical and mental. Yes, Simone is my real name.

When we all embark on our journey of sexual discovery, self-realization, and self-improvement, we are often asked to describe our totem animal or our personal archetype.  In this world of sex and fantasy, I'm a warrior, as is my lover. Probably Samurai Zombie Killers, because that would just rock. We're equals, standing side by side, with mental fortitude, physical strength and good hearts.  If we're lucky, our souls go to a good place when we exit this planet, but in the meantime we still have a lot of work and loving to do.  In BDSM terms, who's on top in the bedroom? We'll have to wrestle for it! (And I managed to write all of that without using the words "yin to my yang!")

I like to read, I like to write, I run my mouth, I like to help and I work really hard to be a positive influence to others while still being true to myself.
